Eli grew up in Durham, North Carolina where he was trained in painting and photography. In 2003, he attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication. Eli has also attended UNC Chapel Hill.
He has worked on various film and video projects across the state of North Carolina and around the country, serving roles such as director, cinematographer, videographer, and editor. His projects have ranged from short films to projects for non profit and charity organizations. He has worked on two award winning shorts for the Asheville 48 Hour Film Project and as a medical reporter for Carolina Week, the University of North Carolina student newscast.
He is currently in production on a original short film, called “American Remains,” which he has written and will direct.
